WHERE EVERY MOMENT FEELS LIKE A WARM EMBRACE

The Hero - Jim Corbett
Jim Corbett, a British hunter and conservationist, is celebrated for his immense contribution to wildlife conservation in India. His deep understanding of the Indian wilderness and his dedication to preserving it led to establishment of the first national park in India, which later became the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Corbett was particularly passionate about protecting the Bengal tiger, and his efforts were instrumental in creating the reserve in 1936, initially named Hailey National Park. After his death, the park was renamed Jim Corbett National Park in 1957 to honor his legacy.

Corbett Tiger Reserve
The Corbett Tiger Reserve, located in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, is not only a sanctuary for tigers but also a critical site for biodiversity conservation. The park’s diverse ecosystems, including grasslands, riverine forests, and the famous Sal trees, provide a haven for many species of flora and fauna. Today, the Corbett Tiger Reserve stands as a symbol of successful conservation efforts, with its thriving tiger population and continued commitment to safeguarding wildlife for future generations.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
We are humbled to hear all the pleasant feedback from our dear guests staying at Jaagar.

With 8 cottages spread over an area of 7.5 acres amidst mango and lichi orchards, Jaagar is a blessing for nature lovers. The resort being 8-9 years old, rooms are big with personal open garden space and you can listen to the sound of trains passing from a nearby line once in a while.Jaagar is connected by railway line (Rampur and Kashipur being nearest stations) as well as good road connectivity.

Lovely place ! Manager Anup Bisht is great concierge, manager and source of information. Muddy and pebbled walks, cottage styled rooms, lush foliage and a deep forest right across the road. What else can you ask for ? Food is good and staff is very friendly. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable.

Amazing place to stay. Gives you a feel of one’s own farm house. Only 8 cottages for 6 acre plus property. Lots of green, right next to corbett wall. Really amazing food consistently throughout our stay. Rooms can be improved a bit and it can easily become a luxury stay, but I am nitpicking now. Anyone coming to corbett should not look at anything else.

Absolutely loved the experience of staying at Jaagar. There was a lot of space (in the rooms, and outside for our puppy to run around in), beautiful surroundings and the peace of being close to nature. We gorged on lychees and other fruits harvested on the property, chilled in the pool and had a wonderful weekend. Should definitely recommend this place for a quick getaway from Delhi.
